Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 建築學系 === 90 === “Dynamics” connotes a concept that data vary according to the changes of time and space. The dynamics of human body may be observed as a changing process of movements with certain purposes. Also the emotional and physiological changes should be considered as part of it. The interaction between human body and city is restricted to destinations of movement, however, while the emotional and physiological changes are confined inside body.
Thanks to customized interface, technological products that flourish in modern times can be manipulated easily, and will develop better interaction with people. How can architecture be more customized in the same way? Is it possible that all the dynamics and fragmented experiences within human body can be released into space? Will technology become an interface between human dynamics and city?
This study begins with a discussion on human body, from external movement to inner changes, to see how technology helps to represent and re-interpret this subject by various forms, and how it interact with space at different stages in the history of architecture. Then the urban dynamics and experiences will be introduced, with an attempt to find out hints about different aspects for city in literature and movies. Thus it goes to design various dynamic components, and to organize them in order to make a communicating mechanism between dynamics of human body and city.
With a study of subtle changes of human dynamics in city, there might be more possibilities for developments in urban experiences and movements, and bring to a more intensive interaction between people and city.
