Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 商業自動化與管理研究所 === 90 === There are more than ten existing product certifications and management system certifications in Taiwan. Their contributions are to elevate the business management performance and creating well off the commodity marketing ability to assist the certified companies in rising up their competitive ability. They also protect customers against potential detriment in society. However, many papers, which have been published, are lack of macroscopic and whole views of how to use marks to increase an enterprise’s competition about certification mark operation effectively. The research investigates the factors of certification mark operations and suggests the further development strategy from the viewpoints of an enterprise requirements in the future.
The research is the preliminary study and we interview some specialists and companies by two stages. In the first stage, ten specialists in conformity assessment field were invited to interview for the significance of the certification institution and provided their insights as the scheme of individual analysis. In the second stage, the study focused on the discussion of certification requirements of an enterprise, the senior managers were selected to interview in eleven famous certified enterprises and the results were arranged for the questionnaire. Then five hundred ninety eight companies certified by Chinese National Standard Mark were inquired by using the questionnaire to confirm that the conclusions of interviews are the enterprise consensus. Finally, seven certification marks managed by government were chosen to do case study.
The four conclusions of the research are as following: First, the theme of certification mark must conform to an enterprise and a purchaser’s requirements and have a long-term enough market to support it. Second, a certification institution should be capable of helping companies construct management systems, enhance competition and conform international standards. Third, a certification body must promote a certification mark by widespread and effective advertisement continually as well as attract attention and confidence of objective customers. Fourth, a certification body needs professional auditors who have the counseling ability and keep public confidence of certification marks’ mechanism of marketing supervision. Above four items are the key factors of operation. If certification marks can’t achieve these requirements, they will hardly meet the expectation of an enterprise and will face the downfallen dilemma.
