This research has been focused on blending ether-typed polyurethane with high molecular weight copolymer of L-lactide and glycolide (PLLAGA) or low molecular weight copolymers of L(DL)-lactic acid and glycolic acid (PLLGA or PDLGA) or oligomers of L(DL)-lactic acid (PLLA or PDLLA) and oligomers of glycolic acid (PGA) in 95/5, 90/10, 85/15 and 80/20 (w/w) ratios. The spin-coating method was used to cast the film. The thickness of the film is between 30 and 40µm. According to thermogram of differential scanning calorimeter, phase separation has been observed in polyurethane films blending over 10% PLLAGA. However, polyurethane films containing 15 to 20% oligomers start to show phase separation phenomena. From measurement of contact angle between water and polymer film, it indicates hydrophilicity of these polyester-blended polyurethane films has been changed very little. Spectra obtained from Fourier transform infrared and attenuated total reflectance verify the existence of the majority of polyester blending inside polyurethane films. Breaking tensile strength and breaking tensile elongation for polyurethane films incorporating polyester oligomers are higher than those for polyurethane films. However, polyurethane films containing high molecular weight PLLAGA show slightly low value of breaking tensile strength and breaking tensile elongation. 王賢達 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 121 zh-TW
