The research employs a mechanical system simulation software (ADAMS) to study the bending stiffness of paper and the motion of paper moving through the paper feeding mechanism of printer.
In this study, five types of design with different angle of feeding guide are used to simulate the motion behavior of paper. Important outputs like displacement of front edge of paper, contact force are summarized and supposed to be useful for determining design crucial parameters to ensure printer quality.
