Equipments are important assets for a company. Therefore, these valued equipments must be carefully maintained in order to fulfill the values them possess. Since most of the industries are highly automated, the condition of machines directly affects the capacity, quality and yield of a production system. As a result, maintenance becomes one of the key factors for a company surviving in the competitive market. Maintenance management is a complex and multifaceted task performed in parallel with production operations. Therefore, development of the total solution for maintenance management combined with equipment management and spare part inventory management is an important issue. In this research, the model for a web-based maintenance management and equipment management system will be constructed firstly. And then, the linkage between computerized maintenance management system and manufacturing execution system will be addressed. Finally, some concluding remarks are made.
