Summary: | 碩士 === 東海大學 === 政治學系 === 90 === Since the National Front was created in 1972, Jean-Marie Le Pen, the party’s only president, had participated in every electoral contest. In spite of the FN was electorally moribund through out the 1970s and early1980s. FN has emerged the most vital forces in French politics in the 1990s.
The FN had successfully taken the anti-immigration policy to the public and won some constituency during 1983-1999. The result not only came with the anti-immigration wave in France but also forced the left and right to take consider the immigration issue. Even more the right-government had already accepted and carried the anti-immigration policy out, as it’s political program. The FN as a missionary party still can maintain it’s national vote-rate and find it’s way in the bipolarisation political system of France.
