Description
Summary:碩士 === 慈濟大學 === 教育研究所 === 90 === The main purpose of this study is to explore the effects of Three-in-one Strategy on elementary school students’ shyness degree, English attitude and achievement. The study used the unequal-group experimental design to select two classes from Hua-Zen elementary school’s five-grade students in Hualien County. One class had forty-one students chosen as experimental group, the other one had forty-one studentschosen as control group. The experimental group was arranged to attend thirteen sessions of Three-in-one strategy on twice a week and forty minutes per lesson; whereas the control group received no treatment. All subjects received the pretest, the posttest with the Personal Feeling Scales, the Scale of English Learning Attitude and English Achievement Test. These data were analyzed by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) for quantitative analysis. The main findings of this study were as follows: 1.Experimental group has significant effect on the Personal Feeling Scales than the control group, Three-in-one strategy could reduce students’ shyness. 2.Experimental group has significant effect on the Scale of English Learning Attitude than the control group, Three-in-one strategy could promote students’ English Learning Attitude. 3.Experimental group has significant effect on English Achievement Test than the control group, Three-in-one strategy could promote students’ English Achievement. At the end of this study, a few suggestions are provided for practical implementation of school educators and future studies.
