The second purpose is to analyze the textbook’s content of “Homeland Education CurriculumⅡ” in Hualien. To achieve the main purpose above, this study conducts the methods of literature review, content analysis, interviews and interview by telephone. The following findings are emerged from this study: 1. In terms of themes, the textbooks need more instruction medium. 2. In terms of themes, the textbooks have large proportion of local geography. 3. In terms of the lessons styles, the textbooks have largest proportion of narration. 4. In terms of the pictures, the textbooks have to improve. 5.The school authority school support the homeland study curriculum. 6.County Education Board should support the homeland study curriculum . 7.As a whole the teachers’ ability of homeland study curriculum should be increase.
