Description
Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 90 === In the new Millennium, the government puts the industry into action and plans to make Taiwan a science and technology island. In view of the imminent stiff competition after Taiwan’s joining WTO, in the plan put forth by the government, high-end technologies are not only developed to speed up the velocity of information flow, but also used to increase the added value of industrial products. Machinery plays an important part of the industry. In this thesis, the interpolation algorithms of Numerical Control (NC) are emphasized. The most crucial element in a NC system is the continuous-path control. The algorithm of linear interpolations determines the performance of a contouring NC machine. Current methods proposed are all about the applications on two-dimensional NC systems. In this work, we propose a new algorithm that can be applied in the interpolation on the three-dimensional, continuous-path control machines. This three-dimensional algorithm is composed of two-dimensional algorithms. The idea behind this new algorithm is that, a three-dimensional coordinate system can be regarded as the combination of two, two-dimensional coordinate systems. Hence, an additional directional path update can be found in our new algorithm.
