| Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 會計學系 === 90 === In latest years, the government has established National Information Infrastructure (NII) which result in the popularization of internet and quick development of telecommunications service and media, further achieve the infrastructure of distance education, and pouring information technology into education gradually becomes a common consensus for all walks of life. Therefore, distance education gradually develops in Taiwan, many scholars researching about the plan of distance education、the evaluation of the system、the design of the course and the effect of the learning, etc. But there is few research about comparing distance education and traditional classroom education. The current study is based on the above view to analyze the benefit and performing situation of distance education and traditional education, and to understand the different degree and factor by means of literature survey, in order to make an assessment of helping students’ learning and the evaluation of the benefit of distance education.
Base on the above description, the samples are derived from the students of commercial department and management information department at open university in the northern Taiwan from July, 2001 to June, 2002. This research is to examine the benefit and the affecting factor on performing distance education and traditional education.
