The questionnaire survey method was used to collect information from the executive managers of logistics companies. The important aspects include: discovering the important logistics capabilities of logistics companies、the development trends of logistics profession、the effects of Pan-Asia Area economic development trends on logistics industry and the effects of manufacturing industry trends on logistics industry. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA analysis were used for survey data analysis. On the aspect of logistics capabilities trend, the research analyzed the characteristics of capability factors of logistics companies through gravity analysis、execution analysis、diversity analysis and drop height analysis. On the aspect of the development trends of logistics profession、the effects of Pan-Asia Area economic development trend on logistics industry and the effects of manufacturing industry trend on logistics industry, the research studied the influence factors and development trends through gravity statistics and ANOVA analysis. The research results are as follows： 1.On the aspect of logistics capabilities, survey companies expressed lower degree of execution than their importance. 2.On the aspect of the development trends of logistics profession, the changes and upgrades of industrial structure is the most important factor for domestic logistics development；multi-national corporations setting up local logistics centers is the most important factor for international logistics development. In addition, value creation and customers’ needs satisfaction are the major trends of the supply chain and logistics development. 3.On the aspect of the effects of Pan-Asia Area economic development on logistics industry, research results showed the most influential factor on logistics industry is the economic development in Great Chinese Economic Area. Besides, these managers also consider that the most suitable place to set up Asia Logistics Center is Taiwan. 4.On the aspect of the effects of manufacturing industry on logistics industry, reducing the inventory level in manufacturing industry is the most influential factor on logistics industry. And the key reason why manufacturing companies outsource logistics operations is to reduce operational costs.
