It is widely used in the aromatherapy. Five speies of Lavandula plant, namely, Lavandula vera、Lavandula dentate、Lavandula heterophylla、Lavandula pinnata and Lavandula angustifolia were cultivated in taiwan. In this study, the essential oils of above plant were obtained by the methods of steam distillation and solvent extration, respectively. All of the essential oil were analyzed by using the gas chromatograph coupled with mass spectromter.
