| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 國際企業管理研究所 === 90 === There are some studies concerning the employee’s job involvement for profit organization except police. This study is focus on the character of police job leading to job burnout, which affected by the work stress. From the viewpoints of the job involvement, to conduct a questionnaire survey, to explore and understand the correlation among the factors of individuals and families of the police officers and the jobs’ character with their job involvement.
This study finds the following facts: In the aspect of individuals’ factor; the job involvement are quite different from what’s the ages, service periods and education level. In the aspect of the families’ factor; the job involvement are quite different from what’s the marital status, number of dependents and whether have joined with his family together. In the aspect of the jobs’ character; the job involvement are quite different from what’s the attributes of jobs, ranking, position, type of works and service area. Furthermore, this study also finds that female police officers have the higher job involvement and need more consultation for their job rotation and career development. The younger and junior police officers always suffer from the higher work stress, which lead to the lower job involvement that they need more adjustment and consultation. The job involvement is quite different between those who graduated from The Taiwan Police College and The Central Police University. Those who graduated from The Taiwan Police College need more career development and consultation. The family is the shelter of the police officer. Those who join with family together show that have the higher job involvement. It’s necessary to arrange the good living condition for them not to worry about their families and be happy to work. Usually, the security police have the higher work stress and the lower job involvement, which needs more adjustment and consultation. The correlation between the work stress and the job involvement is always negative. The more the work stress, the lower the job involvement.
