The blood compatibility of these heparin-immobilized PSF membrane was investigated. The surface densities of carboxyl, amino group and heparin on the PSF membranes were characterized by dyeing determination, and the hydrophilicity was evaluated by the contact angle. Blood compatibility was evaluated with the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) as well as the activation and adhesion of platelet. The protein affinity was determined by the absorption of human serum albumin (HSA). The results show that by the coupling of chitosan, the heparin-immobilized amount can be significantly increased. Water contact angle decreased with the increase of the amount of immobilized heparin, showing the increasing hydrophilicity of heparin. The heparin-immobilized PSF membrane showed longer APTT and decreasing platelet adhesion. The adsorption of HSA was greatly reduced. These results demonstrated that the blood compatibility of PSF membrane could be improved by the immobilization of heparin. 楊銘乾 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
