Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 纖維及高分子工程系 === 90 === Abstract The study main probe into the fire-retardant behavior and physical properties effects of polyurethane foams and ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA). First this study is to find out the fire-retardant behavior and oil absorption effects of expandable graphite add to polyurethane foams. Through observation of L.O.I. (Limit Oxygen Index), Smoke Density, TGA and mechanical properties, we found that PU compound with PU-P4(4﹪expanded expandable graphite add to polyurethane foams)and PU-UNP(2﹪unexpanded expandable graphite add to polyurethane foams)possess good fire-retardant behavior and oil absorption. Another, this study is to find the composite effect of aluminum hydroxides(ATH40,ATH90)and phosphate(MPX,WP)on flame retardant behavior of ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA). Through observation of L.O.I. (Limit Oxygen Index), Smoke density, TGA, and mechanical properties, we found that EVA compounds with ATH and MPX possess good flame retardant behavior due to composite effects.
