The study first reviews the mathematical model and calibration method previously established for this machine. The model includes forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and parameter identification. For calibration, it is recommended that the position of the machine tool be measured through three separate steps. Since revolute joints instead of the spherical joints connect the links, the specification and identification of geometric parameters of the prototype machine differ from the original one. The research for parameter identification procedure and accuracy analysis are examined through computer simulation.
