For example, the microwave amplifiers, oscillators,...etc. are part of the active circuits, and the filters, antennas,...etc. are part of the passive circuits. The circuits designed by me belong to the active one. In my thesis, what will be mentioned are how to make the microstrip matching network of the microwave amplifier by using microstrip lines, plus an extra factor that could narrowing the bandwidth of the output characteristic, in other words, the factor could increase the value of the equivalent Q of a narrow band amplifier.
