The study uses depth interview and questionnaire to investigate some purposes. The respondents of depth interview are experts who work in corporate gifts for a long time. To consult them about the present situation, straits, trends, and application of eMarketplace of corporate gifts purchasing. There is a company developing the business model, so the study uses questionnaire to investigate the decision factors when enterprises consider adopting it.
The results suggest the corporate gifts have some conditions to develop eMarketplace, but it has some advantages and disadvantages now. Advantages include respondents agree e-Business is useful for cost down, improving efficiency, increasing business, and getting more professional. Disadvantages include the co-ordination of suppliers, purchasing habit of customers, and safety of network transaction.
As the decision factors of adoption, the study conclude the total variables into six factors, including beneficial decision, advantage of innovation, awareness of innovation, complexity of environment, organization size. The most critical factors are beneficial decision, advantage of innovation, and awareness of innovation. Decision of awareness and adopting factors are thought to have significant difference in different industries, but the results indicate that there has no significant difference. That may because of the business model is at developing step.
