Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 90 === The present effort seeks to investigate the effects of the capillary structure parameters by manufacturing a loop heat pipe, which has a heat transfer capacity of about 300W. First, a loop heat pipe is designed through the theoretical analysis. Furthermore, the apparatus and method for measuring the capillary structure parameters are established to measure the various parameters, such as pore radius, permeability, the porosity of capillary structure, etc. To produce the capillary structures, both loose powder sintering and cold isostatic pressed sintering are conducted. Besides, compacting pressure and sintering temperature were investigated in order to achieve the desired porosity and pore size. The measuring apparatus established in present study is employed to measure the important parameters of the capillary structure, and hence the relationship among the various parameters would be revealed. As a result, the desirable parameters for the capillary structure are found to be a porosity level of about 60﹪and a pore radius smaller than 10 μm. In the aspect of performance test, the influences of the capillary structures produced in two different manufacturing routes on loop heat pipes are tested respectively and then compared.
