Summary: | 博士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 90 === This study is to evaluate and organize the curriculum and student activity in engineering program, to introduce three teaching methods of creativity and innovation, and to process two teaching experiments, in order to evoke and improve the creativity and innovation of the students. In this research, firstly, review and investigate the curriculum and student activity organized in the ME department of National Taiwan University; compare the curriculum and student activity with the ME programs of the other famous universities; develop the guidelines for promoting student project and creativity contest as 6W3E. Secondly, introduce three teaching methods of creativity and innovation: creativity teaching for engineering education, Q&A method for understanding the concepts of engineering course, and apply constructivist teaching method to engineering education for creativity and innovation. Lastly, apply the proposed methods of teaching to traditional engineering course and creativity workshop to verify the effect for evoking creativity. After analyzing and discussing, some recommendations about proper curriculum in engineering education for evoking the creativity and innovation of engineering students are suggested, and the necessary arrangement of the resources and guidelines of student activity to maximize the effects are also proposed.
