It provides a complete architecture for integrating comprehensive media objects in multimedia applications. Besides compression technologies of audio and video objects in MPEG-4, there is a framework to compose these media objects into visual-audio scene in the playing time rather than in the editing time. AudioBIFS is a part of MPEG-4 standard for composing audio objects and describing audio scenes. AudioBIFS describes audio scenes for interactive presentation, because the audio objects can be real-time composed and played in client side. Content authors can use AudioBIFS to describe a real-time interactive audio scene. According to the needs of users, audio objects is post-produced to mix with other sounds, change number of output channels, delay output or add sound effect at real-time. Also, It can produce 3D spatialization sound according to the environment of scene and the state of users, which recreate a virtual scene to be more realistic.
