The early VoIP uses H.323 designed by International Telcommunication Union (ITU) as protocol to communicate and negotiate how to transmit media. At recent years, The Internet Engineering Task Force (IEFT) also designed new protocol, and Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) is one of them. Unfortunately, the two protocol designed by ITU and IEFT can not be directly integrated. According to the two VoIP protocol (H.323 and MGCP), in this paper we want to make a gateway in which a call can cross the two different systems and communicate with each other.
