碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 90 === Repetitive negotiation among participants of a project usually arising in the process of construction management, especially scheduling, basically results from lacking of efficiency in communication. For acquiring external real-time scheduling information from other involved parties to make appropriate decisions would be useful to project control, using standardized information in company with intelligent agent-based mechanism of data acquisition has been proposed to solve the problem mentioned above. This research attempts to establish a framework of automatic negotiation mechanism for project scheduling as assistance for manager in overall project control. XML document, in this research, is used as an information standard format to allow intelligent agent, named Message Agent, being accessible to distributed data of participants. The ultimate goal of this research is to illustrate the concept that unavoidable negotiation launched by the project manager among other participants could be better on condition that more reliable information, in this research means external progress data, can be taken into consideration and more efficient procedures of negotiation can be developed well. Undoubtedly, schedule needs to be updated, as long as the updating processes could be automatically and practicably performed, savings of time and amelioration of management may be expected.
