Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 90 === Many quantitative location theories are expressed in mathematical forms. The more complex mathematical model are employed, the more difficult for people to understand. Thus, location theory becomes hard to learn, teach and apply. This research uses grid space to accommodate location choice decisions. For each grid, the industry with minimum total transportation cost will dominate. As a result, the system will produce a land use map and a rent map with respect to given locations of resources, markets, roads etc. This system will break through the restriction of present mathematical model to provide land economics researcher with a whole new research direction. Moreover, the system can help city and country planning researchers to solve city industry location disposition problems and stimulate the distribution of each industry location to find better disposition proposals with different city facilities disposition. Lastly, the system can also be teaching tool for land economics by simulating different scenarios.
