The enterprises are receiving more and more pressures on these agendas. As when the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems were introduced to the Taiwanese industry sectors, the lack of objective measurement system on environmental, health and safety issues lead to poor results from these management systems. This further discourages the industry sectors to produce their environmental reports. Also, since the several industrial incidents in recent years from the integrated circuit industries in Taiwan, the safety and environmental issues on integrated circuit industries has attract more attentions from the society. This study is focused on the integrated circuit industries on its environmental and safety issues with Analytic Hierarchy Process. The research is design to define the priorities between environmental issues, safety, and workplace health and risks concerns through industrial safety, health and environment reports. The results form the studies suggest that:A. For the safety and health issue, the major concerns are fire and explosion, toxicities, suffocation, erosion, and workplace injuries.B. For the environmental issues, the major concerns are organic solvent disposal, sulfate disposal, special gas emissions, fluoride waste water, CaF2 sludge, Volatile Organic Compounds, waste metals, CMP waste water, acidic gas emission, and discharged streams.C. For the energy and resource issues, the major concerns are the usage of special gas, usage of organic chemicals, usage of acidic/basic chemicals, water resources, and electricity.
