In recent years, economic recession, unemployment rate rising and people’s lower consumption capability have caused the decline of car sales year by year. Every car company has uses various measures to promote their own cars. Among these measures, the low down pay and preferential interest rate or even zero interest rate installments are most effective. They have made car-buying installments increase year by year. This study takes case company as an example and deeply analyzes through “Porter’s Five Strengths” the structure of the industry and outside circumstances to understand the characteristics of the industry, the key success factors operation and the opportunities and threats faced by the case company. Secondly, the study is trying to explore the operation ideas and structure of organization of case company to evaluate and discriminate strength and weak and present a direction of feasible operation strategies and operation policy. In the conclusion, the study presents its recommendations to case company, government and follow-up researchers. 1. The key success factor for car-buying installment sectors 1) Effectively control certain accesses of car sales 2) Posses multiple accesses of fund raising. 3) Healthy loan system and complete and professional collecting system. 2. Recommendations to case company, government and follow-up researchers. 1) Adoptable operation strategies for case company a) Short-term strategy: may adopt related diversification strategy to expand used car loan business. b) Medium and long-term strategy: may adopt market-develop -ment strategy to develop markets in Mainland China. 2) Recommendations to government: Deregulate establishment of the loan company to make car-buy installment companies truly merit their names to operate car loan business to increase domestic consumption and expand demand in markets. 3) Recommendations to follow-up researchers: a) Taking as many similar companies as you can for study may enhance the effectiveness and compare with foreign companies. b) May carry out research into different type of companies to understand the adaptability of operation strategy to the change of circumstance in different type of companies.
