Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 資源管理研究所 === 90 === This article is trying to analyze related factors affecting the firms’ staff to get the training about Environmental Management System-ISO14001. While the process of ISO14001 certification forces an enterprise to pursue its environmental management and to improve its environmental performance, such practices, in turn, reduce the risks of external disputes, government fines, and liabilities. Furthermore, the company can also improve its pollution control; energy consumption and production cost, and hence increase its competitiveness. But what are the most important factors affect the training result while the internal staff gets such environmental educational training. The researcher takes independable factors as the firms’ superior manager attitude, the education trainers’ attitude, and the staffs’ attitude.
Because related literatures are so few in Taiwan that the researcher hopes to develop an effective questionnaire by using Delphi. By means of the expertise’ professional knowledge and experience, the researcher tries to make an effective questionnaire and get the dependable factors affecting the firms’ staff adopt the ISO14001’s environmental educational training. The independable factors include the firms’ operating background, the firms’ personnel attitude for environmental education training, and the factors affecting the staff to take part in the firms’ educational training.
The survey employed the probit model and finally indicated that the firms’ image and technology is the prior factor affecting the firms try to adopt ISO14001 educational training. Superior managers’ attitude is the most critical factor in implementing the environment management system educational training. The firms’ reward and feedback affect the staffs’ willingness to take the ISO14001 educational training.
