The thesis will list the pricing model, then we will take a example to explain. To deeply understand e-learning industry’s opinion to this model, we visit companies that offer e-learning education and companies that use e-learning education. The former we visit Learntrend and IBM, The latter we visit IBM, Microsoft, and Chinatrust. The conclusions of the thesis are as follows: 1. Because the companies that use e-learning education do not sell the education, theses companies do not follow the third and forth steps. 2. According to statistics data gathered from Learntrend, e-learning education life cycle is two year. 3. There is a difference between the pricing model that this thesis develops and the pricing model that companies that offer e-learning education use. The pricing model that this thesis develops will choose fee first. After calculating NPV value, we will choose highest NPV value, the fee that contributes to highest NPV value is the best pricing model.
