Summary: | 碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 數理教育研究所 === 90 === The purpose of this study was to understand the content and evaluation pointers of user interface in primary science teaching website. To fulfill this research purpose, literature review, questionnaire, semi-structured interview, and Delphi technique were employed. The following four results were concluded:
1.Primary science teachers found it was the most difficult to teach globe science, and they also thought the science knowledge, unobservable or abstract instructional materials were better taught through the WWW.
2.Primary science teachers thought that the subjects such as “Light and Colors,” “Electromagnetism,” “Water,” “Oxidation and Reduction,” “ Living Environment of Beings,” and “Astrology and Space Conceptions” should be provided teaching support the most in primary science teaching website.
3.Seven items were necessary in primary science teaching website. They were “Data Search,” “The Relative Data Link,” “The Latest Notice,” “Web Introduction,” “Question and Answer,” “Room for Discussion,” and “The Serial Introduction of Subjects.”
4.The user interface design of primary science teaching website had 11 evaluation pointers, such as the sameness of vocabulary characteristic, systematization of data classification, freely surfing the teaching website, correct linking, …etc.
According to the results, four suggestions were provided as follows:
1.Teachers and website designers should apply 11 evaluation pointers which this study suggested to choose and design teaching website.
2.Six subjects mentioned above that primary science teachers needed teaching support the most should be set up first in teaching websites.
3.Teaching websites should provide seven functions like “data search”, “the relative data link”, …etc.
4.Teaching websites should provide the data with different levels of difficulties on the same subject, and their multi-media should be also meaningful for instruction.
