Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 河海工程學系 === 90 === With the rapid development of economy and higher living standard, the need of water resource increases rapidly. It also needs to pay more attention on how to increases the reliability of water supply system. Due to industrial development, water shortage becomes more serious in Shin-Ju area. When Bau-Shan No. 2 reservoir is in operation, the Shin-Ju water supply system would be more complicated. So we have to set up a simulation model for water supply system for assessing the performance of the system. In the meantime, we also need indices policy makers to evaluate the performance of the system. This research divided Shin-Ju water supply system into 5 supply subsystems: Shin-Ju City, Ju-Dung, Nei-Wan, Shin-Pu, and Guan-Shi, and established demand forecast model, supply simulation model, and water supply assessment system individually by using the software “STELLA”. For allowing the users to adjust the parameters and/or policies easily and friendly, the model provided a graphical user interface (GUI) that allowed for the rapid capture of the relationships away system components. The assessment model included the shortage index system, the statistical parameter system, DPD, and the sustainability system. Currently the water demand of Shin-Ju area is about 350,000 CMD. It can marginally meet the demand with a 200,000 CMD imported from the Yung-He-Shan reservoir and the Shr-Men reservoir. For year of 2021, the SIm and GSI values reached 4.41 and 2.27 respectively. It showed that the water supply ability in Shin-Ju still needed great improvement to meet the standard. This research used the planning program of Taiwan Water Supply Corporation for assessing the future performance of water supply system. Alternative policies for improving the performance of water supply system are: 1.To build up Bau-Shan No.2 reservoir; 2.Extend Bau-Shan treatment; 3.To establish Nei-Wan weir etc. The result showed that building the Bau-Shan No.2 reservoir with the expansion of all treatment plants could replace water import from Yung-He-Shan reservoir and Shr-Men reservoir. It also promoted the efficient of the Shin-Ju water supply system. Therefore, water conservation alternative have a great influence on the supply system, and it will become the key issue for future study.
