Long Dong Marina is located at northeast coast of Taiwan, the wave motion inside the harbor contains long period oscillations and causes the difficulties of analyzing the wave records, and thus the statistical properties cannot be found. This study used the characteristic length of each basin to find its long period of oscillation, and as the cutting frequency on the lower bound of the spectrum. From the discussions, the period of oscillation is around 162 seconds in outer basin, and the number of available wave records after the extraction is manifestly increased.
