In this theorem, the effect of chloride consumption on the volumetric chloride-increasing rate is assumed to be constant (independent of time) based on the facts from experimental data. Furthermore, it is observed from the experiments that the consumption of chloride ions increases the volumetric chloride-increasing rate. From this fact, we proposed two mechanisms to explain the effects of chloride consumption: chloride consumption rate and sucking force due to chloride consumption. And the experimental data shows that the second mechanism is stronger than the first one. Using various experimental data, we have shown the validity of the current theorem.
