It was expected that the study can provide reference of drafting health education service plan and budgeting for the Health Center at NTNU in the future, and furthermore, of health education service plan for health centers of other colleges and universities. The study utilized survey method, using multimedia film to assist the aided by students to gill out questionnairs, to collect research subjects’ viewpoint, usage situation and satisfaction extent towards the health education services provided by the Health Center at NTNU. The sophomores, juniors and seniors of 2001 academic year were the population , and 338 samples were selected by using systematic random sampling method. The major findings are as follows: Ninety percent of the subjects thought that it is necessary to implement “dormitory dinning room meals health education program ”, “health center website”, “health promotion week”, “group health education activity for the results of health examination among the freshmen ”. More than 70% of the subjects indicated that they realize the Health Center of NTNU has provided “dormitory dinning room meals health education program”, “healthcare window display”, “group health education activity for the results of health examination among the freshmen”, “health information display and handing out for reading” etc. Among them, “dormitory dinning room meals health education program ”was used most frequently and “healthcare lecture activity” and “health promotion week” were the most satisfactory. The important correlation factors that affect the subjects’ thought about health education service, usage situation and satisfactory extent included “grade” and “department”. Whether it is thought , usage or satisfactory extent, “senior” and “biological group” students had relatively better results than students of other grades and groups. Among the health education services “dormitory dinning room meals health education program”, “health promotion week ”, “group health education activity for the results of health examination among the freshmen”,“healthcare window display” and “health information display and handing out for reading” left the deepest impression on students. “Emotion and Stress Management (EQ)”, “self growth series”, “nutrition and health”, “weight control”, “ human relationship”, “prevention and treatment for menstrual pain”, “issues about genders” were the health topics that the subjects were highly interested in and glad to participate in. Based on the findings of the study ,several recommendations are drawn:health information can be conveyed through electronic marquee;in the reconstruction program of NTNU, the Health Center should be located in the appropriate site, and health education services should be provided by using the Strategies of Social marketing.
