As a consequence, it has become more and more difficult to forecast demand at the level of individual products over the planning horizon; in particular if uncertain demands are to be taken care of. A mathematical model is proposed to provide an aggregate production planning by the concept of robust production. Theoretical development is demonstrated by a numerical example. The results have shown its potential advantage in planning.
