Summary:碩士 === 臺中師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 90 === The main purposes of this study were as follows. First, it was to investigate the current situations on school-based management in elementary school. Second, it was to analysis the situations of school-based management that the educational personnel of different background practice. According to the conclusion of this study, the researcher provided some suggestions for the educational administrative authority, elementary schools, educational personnel and future studies. To achieve the purposes above, the research adopted the methodology of literature analysis and questionnaire survey which take the samples from educational personnel of the public elementary schools in Taichung City, Taichung County, Changhua County and Nantou County. ”Questionnaire for school-based management of elementary school” was used as the survey tool. There were 785 educational personnel sampled from 78 elementary schools. The effective samples acquired were 623 copies, and the return rate was 79.63%. The statistic methods were frequency, average, standard, percentile, t-test and one-way ANOVA. From the data of literature review and questionnaire, the conclusions reached were as follows? 1.The results show that the school-based management has been executed in elementary schools. 2.The “curriculum” is the best-practiced item in school-based management. 3.Educational personnel’s opinions toward school-based management differ a lot because of their age、working year and position was implemented. 4.There is significant discrepancy in school pattern and school history when school-based management was implemented. According to the conclusions of this study, the researcher proposes the following suggestions: Suggestions for the educational administrative authority 1.The educational administrative authority should promote school-based management actively in elementary schools. 2.The administration should distribute the power to elementary schools and make school-based management come true. 3.To fulfill school-based management spirit, laws concerned should be revised. Suggestions for elementary schools 1.The school should empower teachers to participate more to fulfill school-based management spirit. 2.Strengthen the communication between the educational personnel to promote school-based management. Suggestions for elementary schools’ personnel 1.Enhance teachers’ profession to correspond to the trend of the world. 2.Make full use of autonomy and to be responsible for it.
