(B) Elementary school teachers'' opinion to goal of life education curriculum. (C) Elementary school teachers'' opinion to the implementation of life education curriculum. (D) Elementary school teachers'' dealing with the difficulties of present implementing life education. (E) The results of the study provided how to implement life education for education administration, schools and teachers. Both questionnaire survey and multiple random sampling were used in this study. Taichung County elementary school teachers were investigated by a research-const questionnaire. There were four divisions: Ching Shui, Fon Yun, Dong Shu, Wu Zi and there were total 180 questionnaires for big-scale schools, middle-scale schools and small-scale schools. The investigater made the questionaire "elementary school teachers'' opinions toward life education curriculum". After statistic analysis, the results of the study were as follows: 1. Taichung county elementary school teachers'' understanding to life education curriculum didn''t make significant differences in age, position, marriage and working years, but made significant differences in sex, educational degree and the scale of school. Female teachers'' scores ane higher than those of male teachers. Master degree teachers'' scores were higher than those of bachelor degree teachers. The middle-scale school teachers'' scores were higher than those of big-scale and small-scale school teachers. 2. Taichung county elementary school teachers'' opinion to the goal of life education curriculum didn''t make significant differences in age, marriage, working years, position and the scale of school, but made significant differences in sex and educational degree. Famale teachers and those who graduated from teachers'' college had positive attitude toward life education goal. 3. Taichung county elementary school teachers'' opinion to the implementation of education didn''t make distinct differences in sex, age, educational degree, working years, position and the scale of school, but made distinct differences in marriage. Marriage teachers understood the implemention of life education more and their schools hade higher possibility to implement life education. 4. The goal setting of life education curriculum in the elementary schools provided how to promote life education for teachers. The investigator provided many suggestions in the end of the study for education adminstration, teachers and further study, as follows: 1. For enhancing life edeucation (1) ehanced life education in schools and include life deucation nine year curriculum. (2) promoted life education to media. (3) encouraged life education research to grow teachers'' profession. (4) held life education seminar for teachers. (5) implemented life education actually in schools. 2. For education teaching and adminsistration (1) enriched professional equipment in the cunseling room. (2) improved instructional methods and enrich teaching activities. (3) established the professional growp to evaluate and understand the real situation in life education plan. (4) included life education to synthesis activity scope in the emementary schools. (5) Provided multiple life education resounes through school internet and information system. 3. Further study (1) both cluestionnaire survey and interview were to used in the study. (2) enlarged study scope and add more samples. (3) enhanced life education curriclum experiment research.
