Summary: | 碩士 === 臺中師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 90 === The purpose of this study was to probe the circumstance of Sports coaches’ empowerment leadership behavior and the difference of different athletes’ background,different coaches’ background,different situations. The study adopted questionnaire examination used on basketball、volleyball、handball、table tennis、badminton and swimming athletes in Taiwan. Using purposive sampling to select 732 male and female athletes from 122 schools. Totally received 612 pieces of questionnaires. Turnover rate was 83.6%. The result of the study was analyzed by Spss10.0.version.
The results of the study were as follows:
1. The circumstance of the sports coaches’ empowerment leadership behavior of elementary school was good. The empowerments’『 Goal Oriented Environment』,「Decision Participation」,「Related Knowledge』,and 「Delegation』 was good.
2. Significant difference on coaches’ empowerment leadership behavior of different sports items.
(1)Different sport items had significant difference on the whole conduct. The significance of the coaches of basketball、volleyball、handball、badminton was higher than the coaches of table tennis and swimming.
(2)Different sport items had significant difference on conductive behavior. On aspect of 『Goal Oriented Environment』,badminton coaches was higher than table tennis and swimming coaches. On aspect of『Decision Participation』,basketball、volleyball、handball and badminton coaches was higher than table tennis and swimming coaches. On aspect of『Related Knowledge』,handball coaches was higher than table tennis coaches. On aspect of 『Delegation』,basketball coaches was higher than table tennis coaches.
3. No difference on perception coaches’ empowerment leadership behavior on different background of athletes, but only the devoted time of the athletes on the aspect of『Related Knowledge』had difference.
4. Difference on the empowerment leadership behavior of different level of different coaches’ background. On the aspect of『Goal Oriented Environment』、『Decision Participation』homeroom teacher was significantly higher than professional coach.
5. Difference on empowerment leadership behavior of different situation. On aspect of『Goal Oriented Environment』、『Related Knowledge』、『Delegation』the highly-achievement coaches were significantly higher than low-achievement coaches.
6.Significant interaction on athletes’ devoted time and sports items in athletes’ background .
7.Significant interaction on different situation and sports items in athletes’ background . Coaches’ background different situations, and sports items had significant interaction.
8.Athletes’ background, coaches’ background, different situations, and sports items had significant interaction.
