Meanwhile, through interaction and dialogue among colleagues, researcher tried to continually reflect and revise from a learners’ point of view to facilitate professional growth. This study employed cooperative action research method to develop the activities curriculum of environmental trail on campus for 1st and 2nd grade students, designed by the research team consists of researcher and other seven colleagues. It focused on the development of curriculum, to comprise designed curriculum and engaged in circulations of teaching. Furthermore, researcher used participant observation, interview, and documents to note down the process of curriculum development. The results of this study were as follow: (1) A desirable way to promote environmental education for 1st and 2nd grade students in activities curriculum of environmental trail of campus. The curriculum design integrated with local resources with the goals of environmental education. Therefore the curriculum could provide references for school-based curriculum development. (2) Through teamwork and cooperation among teachers, this study accomplished not only more detailed curriculum development but also to facilitate professional growth. (3) The problems that occur in the process of curriculum development includes: the insufficiency both of professional knowledge and the skill of designing curriculum, the difficulty to implement teaching evaluation, the fact that the teaching team needs more time to discuss and to prepare for curriculum, the deficiency in scholar and specialist in curriculum. Those problems are solved by team members’ discussion, assistance, and amendment. (4) The curriculum design implementation was priority of curriculum improvement. (5) The problems occur in the process of curriculum implementation includes: environmental support was not enough, teachers worry that they ability of environmental teaching, the operation of stratagem need to be strengthen, the estimation of teaching time was not enough, students’ preference for kinetic activities and the reception of difficulties in part of the curriculum. Those problems are solved through team members’ actively seeking resources, and through their discussions and assistance. (6) The professional growths of teachers includes: The confidence of profession has tremendously increased from the improved actions of curriculum and teaching, through professional dialogue to encourage mutual growth, the knowledge and skill of profession of researcher has increased, and teaching belief anew position, to find teaching enjoyments. The above suggestions of curriculum design, school administration and teacher development/training were for the references/interest of individuals or organizations.
