Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 教育科技研究所 === 90 === The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the multi-mnemonic strategies on sixth-grade students about the paired-associate learning of the social studies in Computer-Assisted Instruction. Three purposes are as following:
1、Investigating the effect of the multi-mnemonic strategies in Computer-Assisted Instruction on sixth- grade students about the paired-associate learning of the social studies.
2、Exploring the effect of the multi-mnemonic strategies in Computer-Assisted Instruction on sixth- grade students about the retention of mnemonic strategies on the paired-associate learning of the social studies.
3、The researcher developed the Computer-Assisted Instruction as a research tool for testing the effectiveness of the learning strategies. In addition, it could be applied in the elementary school.
The results showed that (1)the multi-mnemonic strategies in Computer-Assisted Instruction could promote the paired-associate memory of sixth-grade students , but it could not maintain for a long time; (2)on the posttest and the retention test, the high-ability students was better than the low-ability students on social studies in Computer-Assisted Instruction; (3)on the posttest, the multi-mnemonic strategies in Computer-Assisted Instruction was effective for the low-ability students, but not for the high-ability students.
