It is hoped to explore the types,guality,and the phases of reflective thinking in students’ processing recognition and accepting the results. To achieve the study purpose,this research adopts the survey research. The subjects of the research are 258 senior high school students taking up natural science. The procedures are as follows. First,two pretests are taken to classify the change, either positive or negative,in subjects’ conceptions of gas property. The subjects are divided into two groups according to the results of the pretests. One is Progressive Group and the other is Depressive Group. Next,a questionnaire on the reflective thinking of conceptions of gas property is used. The researcher then analyizes the types,quality,and the phases of students in the two groups. Finally,through metacognition,the researcher further inquires subjects’ features and content of their reflective thinking. Four research results are concluded as follows: 1. Most of the subjects(77%)don’t possess the procedural knowledge,only(27%)of them are able to deepen their conception and learn in a meaning manner. 2. The analysis through chi-square test shows that there is a significant difference between Progressive and Depressive Groups. 3. Both Groups tend to use more reflective thinking in technical phases while fewer practical phases. 4. The subjects’ changes in their conceptions of gas property are influenced by the analysis of reflective thinking quality. 洪振方 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 138 zh-TW
