| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 90 === The purpose of the study was to explore the sexuality of middle-aged gay male. Specifically, the purpose of the study were as follow:
1.Society/school/military/Family influence the sexuality of middle-aged gay male.2.To explore the sexuality of gay male in gay space.3.To explore the influence of marriage, family and gay couple upon the sexuality of middle-aged gay male.4.The strategies of middle-aged gay male on the hidden in and come out toward the families.5.The mixed of gay space/come out/homophobia situations influence the sexuality of middle-aged gay male.
The method of the study was life course research. Interviewing four middle-aged gay male whose age range from 40 to 53.
The results of this study were as follows:
1.The homophobia situations have bad influences on middle-aged gay male on getting the information of homosexual.
2.The gay male choose gay place where they like, entertain themselves and get homosexuality there.
3.The marriage had constraints on the sexuality of middle-aged gay male.
4.The middle-aged gay male usually got the homosexual sex and love by praxising of his body.
5.The living situations, the sex concepts is opened or closed, the steps of management in love usually influence sexuality life of gay couples.
6. Middle-aged gay male always change the masks of heterosexual and homosexual. The sexuality is mixed between gay couple, wife and children.
7.The middle-aged gay male usually willing not to come out of their status of gay, but always outing in some special situations. When they lived with their parents, they were scared of coming out in front of their parents. When they were marriage, they were scared of coming out in front of their children.
In the end, according to the results of the study, a further discussion and some suggestions toward sexuality of middle-aged gay male and future research were made.
