From the background of Bush, the distribution of states where Bush won the election, and the policy which Bush proposed during the election, we can foresee how the new president can bring influence on future economy. Today economy is operating in global setting. Any change of economic condition in USA will likely influence Taiwan's economy. In this study, we investigate President Clinton's economic success, and study the data of recent 2 decades to show different political parties have obviously different economic policies. Economic prosperity is decided by people's money. Now, the amount of money is fully controlled by government's policy and no more controlled by gold standard. USA is the greatest economic entity of the world. We can expect that a new republican USA president will greatly influence Taiwan's economy in the following 4 years. The data show that President Bush will likely devaluate US dollar. So, we expect Taiwan will accumulate much money from the world. In the following 4 years, Taiwan likely will experience economic prosperity. Lien-Shung Wu 吳連賞 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 120 zh-TW
