Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 化學系 === 90 === The purposes of this study are to design two sets of microscale electrochemistry experiments apparatus. These two apparatus may be supplied for chemistry course in senior high school and estimated that the efficacy during experiment are carried out. And therefore, they have been evaluated that if these apparatus can promote student’s interest in chemistry. The apparatus in this study are “microscale hydrogen and oxygen mixed exploding apparatus” and “microscale hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells”. The subjects of this study are sampling from senior high school students of one public senior high school in Kaohsiung with recruiting 123 valid samples. In this research, the researcher designs the microscale electrochemistry experiment in the first, and evaluates the efficiency of these apparatus after teaching with these two apparatus, and then tests them by questionnaires. The results of this study are as follows: 1. “Microscale hydrogen and oxygen mixed exploding apparatus” can proof that the hydrogen and oxygen mixed bubbles have the ability of exploding. The more of the bubbles produces, the louder “BANG” of exploding. 2. “Microscale hydrogen /oxygen fuel cells”, the best effective voltage is 2.00V. The more of the voltage, the much time continued of the music bell. 3. The designs of these two apparatus have originality. According to the result of the questionnaires, there are 80.5% and 87.8﹪of the valid samples think that the “microscale hydrogen and oxygen mixed exploding apparatus” and “microscale hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells” can promote the interest in learning chemical experiment. 4. The advantages of: the volume is small, and they are very convenient to take along. They are easy to make, and easy to observe the energy exchange, and have the characteristic of safety and interest for teachers and students. Hence, microscale electrochemistry experiment apparatus may be worthy used to popularize in the chemical course of senior high school.
