Description
Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 環境管理研究所 === 90 === Abstract Earth’s limited resources poses a challenge as how to continuously improve our living standard and to mitigate conflict between environment conservation and economic development. Sustainable development appears to hold the key to resolving this conflict. However, the First and Second Law of Thermodynamics complicates efforts to comply with sustainable development, from which innovative technologies offer a viable solution. Still, current technological capabilities can not conserve the earth’s resources efficiently. This study presents a management based DfE model (MbDfE) capable of integrating design for the environment (DfE) principles into product design by adopting the IDEF0 modeling language to combine ISO9001 and ISO14040. In addition to identifying environmental aspects, the proposed MbDfE model integrates them into the product design process. Results in this study demonstrate that the proposed MbDfE model, not only has the functions of DfE, but also has the characteristics of management discipline and it is believed that this MbDfE model can enhance market competitiveness and environmental conditions simultaneously. 【Keywords】: Sustainable development, IDFE0, ISO 9001, ISO 14040, Management based DfE (MbDfE)
