The major instrument of “Elementary School Educators’ Perceptions of Knowledge Management Questionnaire”was designed to collect data. A sample of 93 principals and 807 teachers was generated and the returned data is analyzed through mean ,standard deviation ,t-test and One-Way ANOVA . The conclusions of this study are summaried as following: 1.As a whole, knowledge management of public elementary school educators in Taoyuan,Hsinchu and Miaoli area is ordinary. Principals’perception is higher than teachers’,and directors’ perception is higher than teachers’. 2.Significant differences were found on the part of principals’ perceptions of knowledge management, given the consideration of principals’ background variables. 3.Significant differences were found on the part of teachers’ perceptions of knowledge management, given the consideration of teachers’ background variables. 4.Significant differences were found in terms of principals’ and teachers’ perception of knowledge management. According to the analysis of the research, the researcher proposes suggestions to: 1.Educational administrative authorities (1)They should establish the indicators of knowledge management to help schools achieve the goals of knowledge management. (2)They should provide financial support to those who contribute to knowledge management. (3)They should set up activities of knowledge management to promote educators’ understanding on knowledge management. 2. Elementary schools’ principals (1)They should play a role as “Chief of knowledge”. (2)They should accept different ways of thinking. 3. Elementary schools’ teachers (1)They should improve the concept of knowledge management,and promote their professional expertise. (2)They should improve their knowledge of information techology. (3)They should accept the advice from students, parents and communities to promote the teaching. 4. Future study (1)Researchers may employ more different knowledge management methods. (2)Researchers may analyze their research more deeply and employ different assessments in order to establish local indicators of knowledge management.
