Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹師範學院 === 學校行政碩士班 === 90 === Abstract The main purpose of this study is to explore the organization and situation , attitude , content and influence , difficulty and the relevant management methods of parent-teacher cooperation(PTC). Finally , we bring out more concrete improvements and suggestions. In order to achieve the goal described above, our research uses documentary analysis, questionnaire inquiry, and interview method to proceed with the research. Survey research of PTC was conducted in this study . As for the sampling, the stratified random was employed and thereby five hundred and eighty-four valid samples were gained in the study. To use public elementary schools’ teachers in Taipei county as the object of the research distribute questionnaire, also to use thirteen persons to interview to compensate the inadequate of the questionnaire. We analyze the dates from the questionnaire by percentage, frequency distribution, Chisquare test , t-test , one-way ANOVA , Scheff′e method. The major results are as follows: 一、organization and situation of PTC 1. Parents-teacher association(PTA)of most schools is taken charge by student counseling office , there are plans of PTA are depended:chairman , acting team and general service team. 2.The meeting of PTA is usually held on the daytime of the weekend and in the evening from Monday to Friday , teachers or parents will be the chairman of the meeting. 二、attitude of PTC There are no significant differences between sex , teaching years and educational background to the attitude of PTC ; there are significant differences between position , school scale and school location to the attitude of PTC. 三、content and influence of PTC 1.The goal and importance of PTC are to increase teaching resources and to combine communities and families. 2.Parents’ participation in PTA is on volunteering stage , it focuses on outings , hometown study , and major festival supports. 3.Communition books , telephones , and cellphones are the major tools of parent-teacher communication ; the main topics are students’ behavior , school performance and grades. 4.The roles of PTC : teachers are the classroom managers , and parents are the supporters and resourcers of activities. 5.The positive impacts of PTC are to support and to enrich teaching resources; on the other hand , the interference of politics and will cause the comparison between teachers. 四、difficulty and the relevant management methods of PTC 1.The lack of time of parents and teachers as well as parents wrong attitudes are the main difficulties of PTC. 2.The ways to enhance PTC are to hold seminars on parents’ education and to establish PTA. Based on the results of this study , to make some suggestions for educational administration , the elementary school , location parents and future study.
