The purpose of this study is to explore an elementary and senior teacher’s personalized internal frame applied in the process of teaching career. A male, 65 years of old elementary teacher served as subject. Life history and /or qualitative data are used for the purpose of this study. Results are presented as two dimensions:
A: factors on career development:
1. Traditional teacher’s characters — kind, responsible, stable, and reliable is keeping in mind all the time.
2. Although doubt about social-change, still does his best in self-adjustment.
3. Successful elementary education always comes out from the corporation of principals, teachers, and parents.
4. Works hard and takes good care of his family as well being his core beliefs.
5. The stage of career development is similar with the career development theory.
6. Career development is influenced by both environmental and personal factors.
B:the internal frame of career development:
1. Altruistic life leads him to devote education career.
2. Sense of responsibility is his principles.
3. He clearly realizes what he really wants in life.
According the main conclusion, the suggestions as follows:
1. Teachers who are responsible and reliable should be praised from time to time.
2. One should open his mind and adjust him to face the social-change.
3. One should build up a philosophy that could be depended upon.
4. One should clearly realize what in life is worth fighting for and set up ones goal.
5. One should strengthen his belief, build up his ability and develop the effective and unique way to resolve problems.
6. For getting more broader and deeper data, the focus group interviews could be applied in the subsequent study.
