Thus, it is worth to set up a measure of effectiveness for comparing the effectiveness of various alternatives in protecting the vessel from air attack. The main concern to a successful defense are minimizing the attrition of own vessel while trying to maximize the kill of threats. The aim of this research is the target selection in an Anti-missile warfare environment. We focus our attaintion of this research on a typical navy combat vessel (frigate or destroyer) but the result can be applied to any single-point anti-air defense. The multi-criteria decision making technique was used to analyze optimal strategies for anti-missile operation tactics, Examples from different Anti-missile scenarios are used to illustrate the effective- ness of the theory.
