Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 材料科學與工程研究所 === 90 === ABSTRACT In this research, the polypropylene fiberreinforced cement specimens were prepared by using four kinds of water-cement ratio (w/c) and five different amounts of polypropylene fiber. Four Point Bending Test and Single Edge Notch Beam Test Method, were used to test and analyze the bending strength and toughness behavior of polypropylene fiber reinforced cement specimens. The experimental results indicated that the Mode I fracture toughness and bending strength increase with increasing polypropylene fiber content, and with discreasing water-cement ratio (w/c). The Mode I fracture toughness value of conventional cement speciments is about 0.2 MPa.m1/2, and that of polypropylene fiber reinforced cement specimens were found to be ranging from 0.25 MPa.m1/2 to 0.35 MPa.m1/2. The bending strength value of the conventional cement speciments is averaged 4.5 Mpa,and that of the polypropylence fiber reinforced cement speciments are ranging from 5 MPa to 7 MPa. Dry Shrinkage test result indicated that adding polypropylene fiber in cement could effectively control the initial crack growth during setting .
