Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系在職進修專班 === 90 === The main purpose of this research is to understand the effect of contructivist teaching for hearing impairment students in learning two-step word problems of math.The subjects were fifth grade students of special classes for hearing impairment student at the primary school.Four students were choosed to join 36 sections of contructivist teaching courses which contain two-step word problem of whole-part schema. The goals of the research were as follows: 1. To understand the effect of contructivist teaching for hearing impairment students in solving math two-step word problem. 2. To analyze the hearing impairment students before and after experimental teaching of solving problem process.To understand the effect of contructivist teaching to solving process. The research adapt the withdrwal design of single subject research design.Not only collecting quantitative information,but also analizing quality by case records of solving problems and performace of learning process.In quantitative analysis ,before teaching ,in teaching and after teaching ,using two-step word problem effect evaluation ,with visual analysis to analyze the case’s learning effect of two-step word problem in comprehension of the problem ,the record of computing for problem solving ,and capcity for computing.In quality analysis , analyze the case’s test record of two-step word problem effect evluation ,and take video tape and record the period of class ,then transfer into paper document and observe case’s performance of solving problems. The conclusions of the research were as follows: 1. Constructivist teaching had immedate and long-term effects on four cases in the whole performance of two-step word problem. 2. Constructivist teaching had immedate and long-term effects on four cases in comprhension of the problem of two-step word problem. 3. Constructivist teaching had immedate and long-term effects on four cases in the record of computing for problem solving of two-step word problem. 4. Constructivist teaching had immedate and long-term effects on four cases in conpacity for problem solving of two-step word problem. 5. Constructivist teaching had positive effects on the problem solving performance for the four cases .For example ,using strategy properly to solve problems , figuring out solve problems ,willing to take the challenges and properly recording solving problem process.
